School Holidays
The Center will be closed the following days:
- January 1st, 2021: New Year’s Day
- January 18th, 2021: Martin Luther King Day
- April 2nd, 2021: Good Friday
- May 31th, 2021: Memorial Day
- July 4th, 2021: Independence Day
- September 6th, 2021: Labor Day
- November 24th, 25th and 26th, 2021: a day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Thanksgiving Day
- December 24th, 25th and 26th 2021: Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
- December 31st 2021: New Year's Eve
If the holiday is on a Saturday or Sunday, we will close either the day before the holiday and/or the day after. A notice stating which day the Center will be closed will be posted and communicated with parents/guardians at least 5 days in advance.
In the event of hazardous weather Raymond United Methodist Church Early Childhood Development Center will follow the example of Hinds County Public School System. The Center will be closed all day if Hinds County Public Schools are observing a delayed arrival time.
Due to fixed cost averaged over a calendar year, there is no reduction in tuition for these holidays.
